Located in what used to be the island home of Robert Louis Stevenson, our candle studio continues to ‘send out the light’ in form of beautiful candles in a myriad of colours.

Here our resident candle maker Hilary is supported by guests and friends alike as she works with wax, colour and love.

Each candle produced takes many hours of care and attention as wax is melted, coloured, poured and hand polished to a fine finish. Only when excellence is achieved will the small golden sticker be attached.

These candles are wrapped and sold though a small number of craft shops locally as well as the Phoenix Store in Findhorn.

Recently we have seen a new addition to our range as we are now producing candles made almost entirely from GM free vegetable oil, which is both sustainable and has been certified as organic. And best of all, it’s almost totally free of smoke emissions.
