It’s never been easier to travel from Findhorn to Erraid and Iona

With first class travel on comfortable, scheduled bus and ferry services. It’s fast, friendly and a lot less expensive than you may think.

Leaving Forres at a reasonable time, you could enjoy the comforts of modern coaches, air conditioning and reclining seats. Travel through some of the most spectacular scenery in Scotland as you follow the shores of Mysterious Loch Ness, arriving at the picturesque fishing and ferry port of Oban.

A short sea crossing by CalMac ferry allows for time to freshen up, enjoy a snack or perhaps even ‘stroll the decks’ before you arrive on the beautiful shores of what has been described as the ‘Jewel in the crown of the Hebrides’ – Mull.

Local coach services will carry you the length of the island, passing tiny fishing villages nestled into the shores of sea lochs, skirting around hills and mountain. You may even gain a glimpse of many of our native eagles, hawks and buzzards as they soar down to hunt their prey.

Majestic stags are a regular site along the road, as are the traditional Highland cattle with their spectacular spread of horns and shaggy coat.

Arriving in the tiny village of Fionnphort, Iris, the Erraid mini bus, will be waiting to carry you the final short leg of your tour to your destination. If Traigh Bhan is to be your choice, then another short hop on the local ferry will set your feet firmly on Iona, the chosen isle of St. Columba.

All this and still in time for dinner!

Travelling to Erraid is made easier by excellent road, rail, air and ferry services.

The nearest airport is Glasgow with both bus and rail connections to the Ferry port of Oban.

Local services on Mull provide a swift and comfortable link to our local village Fionnphort, where we will be happy to meet you in our mini bus.
